Bulgaria: Bulgargaz to propose lower gas price for July

Bulgargaz CEO Veselin Sinabov said, during an open meeting for the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC), that proposed price for natural gas in July remains the same (1.28% lower than the current one). The EWRC meeting focused on a report on an application by the public supplier from June 10 to approve the natural gas price for the next month for final suppliers.

In its application to the EWRC, Bulgargaz proposed for approval a price of natural gas for July of BGN 58.79 per MWh.

EWRC Chair Ivan Ivanov stated that he does not expect any changes.

The EWRC will issue a decision on the application from Bulgargaz to confirm the July price of natural gas at a closed meeting on July 1, Ivan Ivanov informed.
