Bulgaria: Average price on IBEX DAM 96.7 euros/MWh in July

The average baseload price on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange in July 2023 reached 96.75 euros/MWh. That is 14% higher compared to June (84.86 euros/MWh). The average peak price was 90.61 euros/MWh (+22%).

In July, 2,267,169.8 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market, which is 12% more compared to the previous month. The average daily trade volume in July amounted to 73.134 MWh. 

Traded volume in July 2023 was 11% lower compared to the same month last year.

There were a total of 110 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market.

On the intraday market, a total of 189,645 MWh was traded, with an average weighted price of 98.27 euros/MWh.
