Bulgaria: Average day-ahead price in April amounted to 58.2 euros/MWh

Traded volume on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange in April amounted to 2,180,325.7 MWh, which is 12% less compared to May. The average daily traded volume amounted to 72,677.5 MWh. Traded volume in April was 6.4% lower compared to the same month last year.

The average price on the day-ahead market amounted to 58.24 euros/MWh, which is 8.1% lower compared to March (63.37 euros/MWh), while the average peak price was 45.92 euros/MWh (- 23.8 %).

On the intraday market, 257,059.7 MWh was traded. This was the highest monthly traded volume on the intraday market recorded so far. The average weighted price on IDM reached 58.97 euros/MWh.
