Bosnia and Herzegovina, VE Gradina submitted an EIA request for a 72.6 MW wind farm

The Ministry of Environment of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced that it has received a request from the local company VE Gradina for the implementation of a preliminary environmental impact assessment (EIA) for the planned 72.6 MW wind farm in the municipality of Tomislavgrad.

VE Gradina plans to install 11 wind turbines with a capacity of 6.6 MW, according to a statement from the Federal Ministry of the Environment earlier this week.

The public will have access to the request and may give an opinion within 30 days from the date of publication.

As part of a special project, China National Technical Import & Export Corporation and Powerchina Resources plan to begin construction of the Ivovik wind farm in Tomislavgrad municipality in 2022. The wind farm will have an installed capacity of 84 MW, and its construction will cost 130 million euros, the municipal council announced earlier.
