Bosnia and Herzegovina: Junuzovic Kopex launches first LNG station

The first LNG station in Bosnia and Herzegovina, owned by Junuzovic Kopex, began operations in Lukavac earlier this year. This station offers refueling for both liquefied natural gas (LNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG), catering to all types of commercial and passenger vehicles. Additionally, Sarajevo has hosted the country’s first CNG terminal since 2016, also owned by Junuzovic Kopex, which functions as both a CNG filling station and a wholesale distribution center.

The company has expressed pride in being the first to launch such initiatives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing the importance of these projects in advancing the nation’s energy infrastructure. Moreover, the company highlights the environmental benefits of using natural gas, a cleaner fuel alternative, as a response to growing global concerns about pollution and its impact on quality of life. By promoting LNG and CNG as eco-friendly energy sources, the company aims to contribute to a healthier environment for current and future generations.
