Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gross electricity production in the FBiH in June amounted to 556 GWh

Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in June 2022 amounted to 556 GWh, which is by 8.4 % lower compared to June last year, when it amounted to 607 GWh.

Net electricity production amounted to 511 GWh, of which 156 GWh (30.5 %) was produced in hydropower plants, 333 GWh (65.2 %) was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 22 GWh. In June, electricity imports amounted to 17 GWh, compared to 58 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 36 GWh, compared to 111 GWh last June.

In the same month, production of brown coal amounted to 390,333 tons, which is 19.2 % more compared to 2021 when the production stood at 327,504 tons. Lignite production in June 2022 amounted to 144,630 tons, while in June 2021 it amounted to 142,482 tons, a 1.5 % increase.

Coke production in June 2022 totaled 72,392 tons, which is 10.4 % less than 80.751 tons produced in June 2021.
