Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gross electricity production in FBiH in November amounted to 855 GWh

Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in November 2021 amounted to 855 GWh, which is by 6.7 % higher compared to November last year, when it amounted to 801 GWh.

Net electricity production amounted to 777 GWh, of which 372 GWh (47.9 %) was produced in hydropower plants, 380 GWh (48.9 %) was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 25 GWh. In November, electricity imports amounted to 180 GWh, compared to 66 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 613 GWh, compared to 211 GWh last November.

In the same month, production of brown coal amounted to 281,713 tons, which is 20.4 % less compared to 2020 when the production stood at 353,998 tons. Lignite production in November 2021 amounted to 77,083 tons, while in November 2020 it amounted to 152,691 tons, a 49.5 % decrease.

Coke production in November 2021 totaled 79,431 tons, which is 13.1 % more than 70,223 tons produced in November 2020.
