Bosnia and Herzegovina: FBiH lowers wholesale natural gas price

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has approved a reduction in the wholesale price of natural gas, following a proposal from the Federal Ministry of Trade. The new price, effective from 1 October 2025, is set at 406.8 euros per 1,000 cubic meters, excluding VAT.

The price adjustment applies to distribution companies operating within the Federation. Energoinvest, the gas supplier, proposed a 1.63% decrease, lowering the wholesale price from 413.6 euros per 1,000 cubic meters to the newly approved 406.8 euros. The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry supported the proposal, confirming that conditions allowed for a lower sales price for customers under preferential tariffs.
