The construction of 56 MW Divkovici 1 and 2 solar power plants at the ash dump of coal-fired thermal power plant Tuzla was the main topic of the meeting between General Director of power utility EPBiH Admir Andelija and the Mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamovic.
With the full support of the city of Tuzla for the implementation of the project and agreement on the necessary changes to the city’s Regulatory Plan, a joint approach to the Government of Tuzla Canton was agreed to address existing obstacles related to the Cantonal Spatial Plan and the need to amend it, which would create necessary preconditions for the realization of this renewable energy project.
The two officials also discussed the desulfurization project for TPP Tuzla’s unit 6.
