BiH: Gross electricity production reached 1,1 TWh in September

Gross electricity production in BiH amounted to 1,147 GWh in September 2023, compared to 974 GWh in the same month in 2022.

In total gross electricity production hydropower plants participated with a share of 22.6%, thermal power plants with 73.5% and solar and wind power plants with 4%.

Net production of hydropower plants amounted to 257 GWh in September 2023, which is 28% higher than in the same month in 2022. Thermal production amounted to 757 GWh, which is 15% more than last September. Electricity production from renewable sources reached 44 GWh.
