BiH: Energoinvest recroded 4.4 million euros profit in H1

Energoinvest, the main importer of natural gas in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, recorded a net profit of 4.4 million euros in the first half of 2023, compared to a profit of 300,000 euros in the same period in 2022.

At the same time, operating revenues increased by 26%, to 60.8 million euros and operating costs increased by 18% to 56.4 million euros.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is completely dependent on Russian natural gas. It is transported via TurkStream, through Bulgaria and Serbia and enters BiH near Zvornik. The supplier for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Energoinvest, while the Supplier for the Republic of Srpska is Gas-Res.
