Albania approved 70.6 MW of solar projects

Albania government approved applications for the installation of two solar parks with a combined capacity of 70.56 MW in the south-central part of the country.

A company Albania Power Core received the approval to build a 40.56-MW solar farm in Fier municipality, according to the government’s resolution.

The second project was submitted by the company Alb Sun Energy, which can install its proposed 30-MW park in Fier.

Both companies can operate their plants for 49 years from the date the resolution entered into force.
