Eco Solar Panel plans 5 MW solar power plant in Babusnica

Eco Solar Panel, a company fully owned by the Czech firm SPL, is set to construct a solar power plant in Babusnica. The Detailed Regulation Plan (DRP), now available for public inspection by the Municipality of Babusnica, outlines that the new facility, named Kukla, will have an installed capacity of 5 MW.

In addition to the solar power generation, the plant will feature a battery storage system with a capacity of approximately 15 MWh, designed to align with the integration capabilities of Serbia’s electricity distribution system. This project represents a significant step towards enhancing renewable energy infrastructure in the region.
