Croatia: The EBRD and EIB to lend  62 million euros to HEP for a solar park

The 99 MW solar power plant Korlat will be built with a loan of 62 million euros from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank (EIB), with preliminary approval from the Croatian government granted to the state-owned electricity company Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP).

The participation of the two banks in the loan is in a 51 to 49 ratio, economy minister Ante Susnjar said at a weekly cabinet session.

The Croatian government will provide state guarantees for 80% of the value of the loan.
