Serbia: The government approved the establishment of Srbgas KFT in Budapest

The Government of Serbia gave prior consent to the establishment of the commercial company SRBGAS KFT, Budapest. Previously, as stated, the decision to establish that company was made by the Supervisory Board of the Public Company Srbijagas in September of this year.

– Prior consent is given to the establishment of the company SRBGAS KFT, Budapest, in accordance with the decision made by the Supervisory Board of the Public Enterprise ‘Srbijagas’, Belgrade, at the meeting of September 22, 2023 – it was stated in the decision published in the Official Gazette.

Also, the Government passed a decision on giving prior consent to the Decision on capital investment in Serbhungas doo Novi Sad. It is a company that was jointly founded by JP Srbijagas and the Hungarian company MVM CEEnergy. The agreement on the establishment of a joint venture for gas trade in Serbia and the region – Serbhungas foresees a 49% share of Srbijagas, while the majority owner of 51% is the Hungarian energy company MVM.
