SEE region: Day-ahead gas price decreased to 31.4 euros per MWh on Sunday

The average weighted price of natural gas on the day-ahead market of regional gas exchange CEEGEX on the weekend (December 16-17) amounted to 31.43 euros per MWh. During the working week spot gas prices amounted from 34 to around 37 euros per MWh.

On the CEEGEX within-day market, the last transactions were recorded on December 17 and the price amounted to 33.3 euros per MWh.

January futures on the TTF gas hub increased by 1.8% on Friday to 33.8 euros per MWh, while the price for the first quarter of 2024 was 34.075 euros per MWh. CAL 24 reached 39.5 euros per MWh, compared to 44.315 euros per MWh the previous Friday.
