Romania: Coal production reached nearly 2 million toe in the first nine months

Net coal production in Romania in the first nine months of 2023 reached 1.918 million tons of oil equivalent. That is 16%, or 366,700 toe less than in the same period in 2022.

In the same period, Romania imported 166,700 toe of coal, which is 51% less compared to the same period last year.
