Romania: Ukrainian DTEK started construction of wind farm

DTEK Renewables International & Moldova Eolian installed the first turbine at the wind farm in Romania, with the local company Electromontaj being the contractor. This is the largest type of wind turbines installed so far in the country. Each turbine will have an installed capacity of 6 MW and a height of 125 meters.

At the beginning of the year, Ukrainian DTK Renewables International & Moldova Eolian concluded a contract with Electromontaj for the design and construction of the necessary infrastructure for a wind farm to be located in the commune of Ruginoasa in Iasi county. The works include the 35 kV underground transmission line connecting the plant to the national electricity system, the foundations for the ten wind turbines that will be installed as part of this project and the access and internal roads of the wind farm.
