BIH: EPBiH – 12.5 million euros loss in first six months

Bosnian public power utility EPBiH recorded a net loss of 12.5 million euros in the first six months, compared to a 100,000 euros profit in the same period euro. At the same time, revenues dropped by 8% to 303.5 million euros, while expenditures dropped by 4% to 316 million euros.

EPBiH recorded a net profit of 3.15 million euros in 2022, which is about half of the 3.3 million euros profit recorded in 2021.

According to the 2023-2025 Business Plan, EPBiH projects that its pre-tax profit in 2023 would increase to 59.3 million euros in 2023, 135 million euros in 2024 and 201 million euros in 2025.
