Hungary: A slight increase in the spot price on CEEEEGX, to 47.2 euros/MWh

The weighted average gas price on the Hungarian CEEEGX exchange rose slightly on Sunday, April 2, to 47.24 euros/MWh, compared to 47.07 euros/MWh the previous day.
In the previous week, the lowest average gas price on the day ahead of the market was recorded on March 29 – 44.67 euros/MWh.
The lowest gas spot price in March, and therefore since July 2021, was achieved on March 22 – 42.26 euros/MWh.
On the intraday market, gas was traded in the range of 49.4 to 50.7 euros/MWh on Sunday.
Gas futures for April 2023 on the reference European market TTF fell by 2 percent on Friday, March 31, to 46.45 euros/MWh.
Contracts for the third quarter of this year remained unchanged, at 48 euros/MWh. CAL 24 was 56.35 euros/MWh on Friday.
