Montenegro, Average electricity bill for households in February 2023 amounted to 40.32 euros

Average electricity bill for households in February 2023 amounted to 40.32 euros, 16.5 % higher than in February last year (34.6 euros) and 3 % lower compared to the previous month (41.55 euros).

Lowest average monthly consumption was recorded in Mojkovac municipality (19.7 euros), while the highest consumption was in Tivat, where the average bill was 54.2 euros.

58.9 % of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed during February, 14.6 % will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 18.2 % between 50 and 100, while 8.3 % customers will receive bills higher than 100 euros.

148,199 of regularly paying customers were granted a 10 % discount, which represents some 38.48 % of total consumers in Montenegro.

Power utility EPCG also announced that the households consumed 139 million kWh in February 2023, which is 14.5 % more compared to February 2022 and 3.02 % less compared to the previous month.
