Serbia, The Pupin wind farm in Kovačica is ready for construction

As a reminder, within the already existing complex, the construction of 16 wind generators with a total power of 95.5 MW is planned.

Members of the EBRD Board of Directors, as part of their official visit to Serbia, visited the Kovačica wind farm, which was built by one of the founders of the Association of Renewable Energy Sources of Serbia.

The construction of the Kovačica Power Plant was largely financed by an EBRD loan, while the RES Association Serbia was created with the support of the EBRD, which determined the funds for its establishment and development.

Representatives of the New Energy Solutions company , Miloš Colić and Nikola Luković, introduced the members of the EBRD Board of Directors to the development and operation of the Kovačica wind farm, in which EUR 189 million was invested, and the manager of the RES Association Serbia, Danijela Isailović, presented them with the results of the Association’s work and the current view of the situation in the RES sector.

In addition to the Kovačica Wind Park, members of the EBRD Board of Directors also visited the Gallery of Naive Art in Kovačica, announced the RES Serbia association.
