Croatia, JANAF has signed contracts for crude oil storage and transportation with the INA

Croatian state-owned oil transportation company JANAF announced that it has signed contracts for crude oil storage and transportation with the national oil company INA.

The statement from the company said that the first contract envisages the transportation of between 1.6 million and 2.16 million tons of crude oil between the Omisalj oil terminal on Krk island and INA’s refinery in Rijeka by the end of this year. The second contract envisages the storage of 79,385 cubic meters of crude oil at the Omisalj terminal and 70,000 cubic meters at the Sisak terminal by the end of 2025. The company did not disclose the value of these contracts.

Earlier in January, JANAF signed two contracts for crude oil transportation and storage with Hungarian oil and gas company MOL, as well as crude oil storage contract with trading company Litasco, a subsidiary of Russian Lukoil.

JANAF operates 631 kilometers of oil pipeline in Croatia and owns several oil terminals, with total storage capacity of 1.94 million cubic meters of oil and 220,000 cubic meters of petroleum products.
