Bosnia and Herzegovina, B&B Sunce Vjetar signed concession agreements for wind and solar power plants

he Ministry of Energy and Mining of the Republic of Srpska (RS) signed two concession agreements for the construction of a wind farm and a solar power plant near Bileca with local company B&B Sunce Vjetar.

The company will build solar power plant Planik with installed capacity of 80 MW and expected annual electricity generation of 106 GWh. The cost of the project is estimated to 69.7 million euros.

Wind farm Planik will have an installed capacity of 39.6 MW and expected annual electricity generation of 93.2 GWh. The cost of this project is estimated to 51.7 million euros.

The concession for the solar plant is awarded for 27 years, while the one for the wind farm is awarded for 27.5 years. The solar power plant is expected to be completed in the following two years, while the wind farm should be put into operation in two and a half years.

The fixed concession fee for the solar project amounts to 340,000 euros with additional 0.0027 euros per each kWh of electricity produced. Wind project’s fixed concession fee is 250,000 euros and additional 0.0027 euros per each kWh of electricity produced.

According to Bosnian media, the company is backed by two Montenegrin companies: coffee and sweets producer Crnagoracoop and Sistem-MNE, which is involved in RES projects in Montenegro.
