Bulgaria, 2,565,375 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the IBEX in July

A total of 2,565,375 MWh of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Independent Bulgarian Energy Exchange (IBEX) in July 2022, which is 3.6 % more compared to the previous month. Average daily traded volume in July amounted to 83,164.7 MWh. Traded volume in July 2022 was 12.6 % higher compared to the same month last year.

The average baseload price on the day-ahead market in July amounted to 323.28 euros/MWh, which is 45.1 % higher compared to June (222.87 euros/MWh), while average peak price was 312.31 euros/MWh (+ 41.7 %). There were a total of 92 registered participants on the IBEX day-ahead market, three more compared to the previous month.

Regarding intraday market, a total of 86,849.7 MWh (+ 5.9 %) was traded, with the average weighted price of 339.11 euros/MWh (+ 54.2 %).
