North Macedonia, OKTA recorded a net profit in the amount of 12.3 million euros

North Macedonian oil refinery OKTA, owned by Greek Hellenic Petroleum recorded a net profit in the amount of 12.3 million euros in the first half of 2022, compared to a profit of 6.2 million euros recorded in the same period last year.

The company’s sales revenues in the domestic market rose by 1 % in the first six months of 2022, reaching 329.5 million euros, while sales in the foreign markets rose by 25 % year-on-year and amounted to 122.3 million euros.

OKTA remains the main supplier of fuel in Macedonia , covering more than half of the needs of the domestic market and significant exports to Kosovo. The company owns Skopje refinery with installed capacity of 2.5 million tons.
