Croatia, Net electricity production 1.02 TWh in April

Net electricity production in Croatia fell by 5.6%, to 1,022 GWh in April this year from 1,083 GWh in the same month in 2021, the Central Bureau of Statistics said.

Electricity production in April was lower than the March 1,189 GWh, according to the Bureau of Statistics.

Production of hydropower plants in April amounted to 439 GWh, thermal power plants and combined power plants on fossil fuels 226 GWh, thermal power plants and combined power plants on renewable sources 80 GWh, wind power plants 222 GWh and solar power plants 8 GWh.

Electricity imports in April increased to 970 GWh compared to 923 GWh in the same month in 2021, while exports reached 546 GWh compared to 529 GWh.

Electricity imports in April fell by 8.2% compared to March, while exports were 11% lower on a monthly basis.

Electricity available on the domestic market in April amounted to 1,433 GWh, which is less than 1,618 GWh in March and 1,465 GWh in April 2021.
