Region, Slight drop in spot prices on Tuesday

A day in advance, delivery prices on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 195.6 euros per MWh in Slovenia and Croatia to 224.85 euros per MWh in Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Tuesday fell by 3 euros compared to the previous day, to 209.22 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets crashed on Tuesday, with a price of 204.54 euros per MWh. That is 4 euros less than on Monday.

The Hungarian market diverged from the Bulgarian and Romanian in most intervals, and the price was reduced by 3 euros, to 204 euros per MWh on Tuesday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Tuesday is 195.64 euros per MWh, which is about 21 euros less than the previous day.

The Greek price is almost identical to the previous day – 224.85 euros per MWh.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Tuesday range from 151.39 euros per MWh in Poland to 183.18 euros per MWh in France.
