Region, Moderate growth of weekly spot prices

In the period from 19 to 25 April 2022, the average spot price of electricity on stock exchanges in the region of Southeast Europe increased moderately in all markets except Greece, ranging from 186.4 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and Romania to 252.6 euros per MWh in Greece.

On the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX, the average weekly price is 192.9 euros per MWh, about 9 euros more on a weekly basis, compared to 184 euros per MWh seven days earlier.

On the Bulgarian stock exchange IBEX, the weekly average was 186.4 euros per MWh, up about 18 euros from 168.5 euros per MWh in the previous week.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets were fluctuated all week, while these two markets were fluctuated with the Hungarian market from Tuesday to Thursday.

The weekly average on HUPX was 200 euros per MWh (19 euros more on a weekly basis).

The Greek and Bulgarian markets were not flooded during this period. The weekly average on ENEX is 252.6 euros per MWh, which is 3 euros less than in the previous week.

On the Slovenian and Croatian markets, the weekly spot price increased by about 16 euros, to 196.12 euros per MWh, compared to 179.8 euros per MWh last week.
