Region, Sharp drop in day-ahead prices on Friday

The day before, the prices for delivery on Friday, April 15, 2022, on the electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe ranged from 185.6 euros per MWh in Serbia to 259.7 euros per MWh in Greece.

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX on Friday was reduced by 42 euros compared to Thursday, to 185.6 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian, Romanian and Hungarian markets crashed on Friday with a price of 193.24 euros per MWh, which is 20 euros, or 34 euros less than on Thursday.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Friday is 194.02 euros per MWh, which is as much as 90 euros less than on Thursday.

The Greek price was reduced by 25 euros, to 259.7 euros per MWh on Friday.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Friday range from 134.08 euros per MWh in Poland to 206.25 euros per MWh in the Netherlands.
