Region, Bulgarian and Romanian spot prices fall to 95 euros per MWh on Friday

Day-ahead delivery prices on Friday, April 1, 2022, on electricity exchanges in Southeast Europe continued to fall unevenly, ranging from 95.5 euros per MWh in Bulgaria and Romania to 223.5 euros per MWh in Greece .

The spot price on the Serbian stock exchange SEEPEX was reduced by 50 euros compared to the previous day, to 170.3 euros per MWh.

The Bulgarian and Romanian markets were flooded for the first time this week, with a price of 95.51 euros per MWh. That is 12 euros, or 61 euros less than on Thursday.

The Hungarian price was reduced by 46 euros for one day, to 171.15 euros per MWh.

On the Slovenian and Croatian stock exchanges, the spot price on Friday is 190.46 euros per MWh, which is 37 euros less than on Thursday.

The Greek market is the only one in the region to record a slight increase, by 1 euro, to 223.48 euros per MWh on Friday.

According to EPEX SPOT, day-ahead prices in Central and Western Europe on Friday range from 112.68 euros per MWh in Poland to 327.93 euros per MWh in Switzerland.
