Romania, Romgaz amounted to 32.53 million barrels of oil equivalent in 2021

Hydrocarbon output of Romanian natural gas producer Romgaz amounted to 32.53 million barrels of oil equivalent in 2021, which is 11.2 %
more compared to the previous year.

The company’s gross gas production increased by 11.3 % year-on-year, reaching 32.33 million barrels of oil equivalent in 2021. Natural gas from domestic production delivered to the market increased by 12.7 % in 2021 to 4.967 billion cubic meters. On the other hand, Romgaz’ electricity Generation dropped by 31.7 % year-on-year to 640 GWh.

In the fourth quarter alone, Romgaz’s total hydrocarbon production dropped slightly by 0.1 % in comparison to the same quarter in 2020,
reaching 8.54 million barrels of oil equivalent.
