Minister Mihajlovic said that, in the past year, the Ministry has made several important steps regarding the project of the construction of HPP Djerdap 3, but the project has to accelerate. She said that Serbia has prepared an investment plan worth 17 billion euros, which is related to investments in renewable energy sources, and also includes construction of new, large hydro power plants, where more than 10 billion dollars should be invested, adding that US company Bechtel is already interested in participating in HPP Djerdap 3 project.

She said that important decisions need to be made in the next several months, related to the reviewing of already existing project-technical documentation, considering that it is very old, as well as all the other steps that are necessary.
