Romania, Eolenerg Project to build a wind farm with a capacity of 49.8 MW in Constanta County

Local company Eolenerg Project, majority owned by Renovation Asset Management, obtained a technical approval of connection to the electricity network for the construction of a wind farm with a capacity of 49.8 MW in Constanta County.

The approval was received from the area’s electricity distributor – E-Distributie Dobrogea, for a 49.8 MW wind farm located in Sacele. The wind farm is expected to be operational by the end of 2022. It will be connected to a 110/20 kV Sitorman substation, located some 14 kilometers away.

Since 2005, Renovatio has built projects in the field of renewable energy sources totaling over 2,300 MW in wind farms and over 350 MW in solar projects in countries such as Romania, Colombia, Moldova, Poland, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria and Portugal. Renovatio is an accredited energy supplier in Romania with over 6,000 consumption points in its portfolio, delivering a total of over 1,500 GWh per year. The company has in its portfolio projects implemented in solar power plants and wind farms, as well as industrial photovoltaic projects.
