Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gross electricity production in FBiH in July 2021 amounted to 601 GWh

Gross electricity production in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) in July 2021 amounted to 601 GWh, which is by 5 % lower compared to July last year, when it amounted to 633 GWh.

Net electricity production amounted to 548 GWh, of which 129 GWh (23.5 %) was produced in hydropower plants, 402 GWh (73.4 %) was produced in thermal power plants, while wind farms produced 17 GWh. In July, electricity imports amounted to 79 GWh, compared to 53 GWh in the same month last year, while electricity exports amounted to 166 GWh, compared to 63 GWh last July.

In the same month, production of brown coal amounted to 329,137 tons, which is 1.6 % less compared to 2020 when the production stood at 334,647 tons. Lignite production in July 2021 amounted to 103,117 tons, while in July 2020 it amounted to 147,781 tons, a 30.3 % decrease.

Coke production in July 2021 totaled 82,415 tons, which is 28.5 % more than 64,136 tons produced in July 2020.
