Minister of Environmental Protection Irena Vujovic said that this is the beginning of solving the decades-long problem of air pollution in this city. She added that 500 new connections to the district heating network in Kosjeric is planned, which also includes public buildings such as schools and hospitals. According to her, that will reduce air pollution by 70 %, while there will be ten times less carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide in the air.
