Romania: Petrotel Lukoil and Oil Terminal signed a contract

Oil Terminal recorded a net profit in the amount of 2 million euros in the first nine months of 2020, which is 12.3 % more than in the same period last year and 12.2 % more than planned for this year. The company’s revenues in the first nine months of 2020 amounted to 28.8 million euros.

Oil Terminal, a company which operates the oil terminal in Constanta port, has signed a new fuel delivery contract with Petrotel Lukoil. The contract, worth some 9.5 million euros, is valid for the entire year 2021. The contract provides for the provision of shipping services – imports of MTBE oil and diesel, as well as fuel exports.

Oil Terminal has a storage capacity of about 1.5 million cubic meters and is the largest operator at sea in the port of Constanta, specialized in the handling of crude oil, petroleum products, liquid petrochemicals and other finished products or liquid raw materials for import, export and transit. Main competitors of Constanta oil terminal are the terminals operated by Rompetrol Rafinare in Midia port and the Unicom-Oil terminal in Galati. Its regional competitors are oil terminal at Omisalj in Croatia, which has fully taken over the oil transit towards Serbia and Reni oil terminal in Ukraine.
