Croatia: Guarantees of origin auctions

On 18 September 2020, guarantees of origin auctions was held for electricity from incentivized producers. The entire amount of 274,923 guarantees of origin was sold on three separate auctions. Auctions were organized as three parallel auctions, in addition to guarantees of origin from wind farms on two auctions, those from biomass were also sold on one auction through CROPEX’s IT trading platform:

A total of 135,855 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in July and August 2020) at a price of 1.11 euros/GO; – a total of 73,893 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the wind power plants with commissioning date older from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in July and June August) at a price of 0.12 euros/GO; – a total of 65,175 guarantees of origin were sold at the auction from the biomass power plants with commissioning date from 1 April 2015 (electricity produced in July and August 2020) at a price of 1.35 euros/GO.
