Bosnia and Herzegovina: Decreased gas prices for distribution companies from BH-Gas

As of May 1st, prices of natural gas are decreased to to distribution companies by 9.4 %, announced Bosnian gas company BH-Gas. New price will be around 271 euros per 1,000 cubic meters of gas compared to 296 euros per 1,000 cubic meters the companies paid since the beginning of 2020, according to the statement from the company.

BH-Gas said that this decrease is a result of the fall in global oil prices, as well as the downward trend in the price of natural gas supplied from Russia.

Previously, the price of gas for distribution companies was decreased by 8.59 % as of 1 January 2020. Last month, BH-Gas also reduces the price of natural gas it supplies to industrial consumers by 6.5 %, adding that if the downward trend on the global market continues, the price would be further reduced for the third quarter of 2020.
