“Due to the bad hydrological situation Power Plants Nikola Tesla (TENT) these days produces around 60% of electricity using the Kolubara lignite coal” stated Mr.Nebojsa Ceran director of Kolubara mines company.
Ceran explained that production in 2011 is within planed milestones, around 30 mil tons of coal and added that Kolubara is ready for hard winter ahead of us.
Mr.Ceran also reminded on the necessity of the investments into surface pits and explained the investment plan in the following 6 years, foreign credit lines in value of 1,5 billion euros but also assets of Kolubara in value of 80 mil euro in 2011, and planed 100 mil euro in 2012.
Speaking about operational business in the company Ceran stated that in 2011 will be positive and announced possibility to decrease support machines renting in the near future.
” I can not guarantee than we will not need some special machine, but I hope starting from march 2012 that we will not need to rent any additional supportive machinery “, stated Mr.Ceran and reminded on investments in this year and plans of the machine procurement in next year.
