The average household electricity bill in Montenegro for October 2025 amounted to 32.21 euros, representing an increase of 13 percent compared to September (28.51 euros) and 15.4 percent compared to October 2024 (27.9 euros).
Among municipalities, Mojkovac recorded the lowest average monthly bill at 24.6 euros, while the highest was in Nikšić, where households paid an average of 37.4 euros.
According to data from power utility EPCG, 64.1 percent of households will pay less than 30 euros for electricity consumed in October, 16.97 percent will pay between 30 and 50 euros, 14.81 percent between 50 and 100 euros, and 4.12 percent will receive bills exceeding 100 euros.
A total of 157,163 customers who regularly pay their bills qualified for a discount, accounting for approximately 38.53 percent of all consumers in Montenegro.
EPCG also reported that household electricity consumption in October reached 117.4 million kWh, an increase of 17.2 percent compared to the same month in 2024 and 12.47 percent more than in the previous month.
