Croatia: CROPEX and INA partner to launch auctions for solar guarantees of origin

The Croatian electricity exchange CROPEX has signed an agreement with oil company INA to organize auctions for the sale of guarantees of origin (GOs) owned by INA.

Under the partnership, the GOs will be sold through auctions conducted by CROPEX using its dedicated IT trading platform. INA will initially offer guarantees of origin generated from its solar power plants.

The first batch of INA’s guarantees of origin will be included in the upcoming auction scheduled for 29 October. As in previous cases, CROPEX will publish detailed information about the guarantees on its website ahead of each auction to ensure transparency and equal access for all interested participants.
